She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
