Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a Fortune-teller, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Emerald and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her black hair is wavy and long. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She comes from a rich western family. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Being a Courier kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized opal on his left hand. With bright golden hair and a scraggly beard. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Thorin speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. He now mingles about in high society.
