Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Birel was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Birel's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a longbow on his belt. He is portly but not overly obese. His head has been shaved. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His first spouse was a Tailor, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tailor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Spice Merchant, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and she wants revenge against gnolls
