Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. Her red hair is lengthy. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are brown.
Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her first spouse was a Servant, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: To unite with her sister; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: He wears a brown tunic with violet highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around his shoes. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has a long golden beard with little hanging trinkets. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Description: She stands about 4'3" and wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. Her right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. Her wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Courier born in the past three hundred years. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She now owns her own business.
Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: Theren was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and sabotage a competitor
