History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Gifted from a young age, Meriele studied abroad. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything.
