History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

History: Gillyd lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Gillyd has worked very hard to control her curse. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
