Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Varis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Varis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Varis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Salasar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Salasar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a Spy soon after.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His first spouse was a Body Guard, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Body Guard; and he wants to get laid

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a red tunic with blue highlights, and long black pants that bunch up around his shoes. His brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is a Interpreter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Watson was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Interpreter. Being a Interpreter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Shava was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
