Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new herbalist responsibilities is difficult

Description: This man typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull green iron scale mail, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has silver eyes and a black hat with a green feather.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His childhood dream was to be a Bather, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Bather, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: This malnourished man wears a pastel collared shirt and white pants. He accessorizes with a red scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. He has no fur. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Emerald is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in a small desert village. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Junk Dealer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Emerald was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and many illithids want him driven away

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. A friendly and beautiful Human, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Carpenter arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Eva abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
