History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Cockaby was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a Shoemaker, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his morningstar with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has no hair. He has gold eyes and a green hat with a brown feather.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Kairon was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His hair is auburn and very short. His amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to be a ploughman again
