History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Kali alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mercenary they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Dyer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. The war was a terrible time for her, and Drifting does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered singing. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
