History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A gifted student he started as a Bowyer, but he got bored and became a Jeweler. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Elves. His skin is dark but he possesses many white ritualistic tattoos. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His red hair is lengthy. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents enrolled him in a Expert school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Description: 5'7" and muscular, this western man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His white hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She usually wears her brown robe and has her flail always slung over her shoulder. Her chestnut hair is well kept. Her eyes are violet.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
