Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Birel lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Dragonborn activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dragonborn doctor. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: This malnourished man wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with blue lining and desert motifs. His black hair is long and unkept. This brown eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: Alston is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: Alston was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. After a long history of fighting, Alston and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: To unite with his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: This man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His auburn hair is long and unkept. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others

She carries with her a set of shields, each one with a opal on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her golden hair is heavily combed to the right. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Lidda was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Lidda decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: Trail was born the youngest of three triplets. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
