Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a sickle, but if one is not available he will default to his shortbow. He has styled his black hair well, parting it to the left. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his feathered tan hat.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears black trousers with grey and red striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His purple hair is unkempt and raggedy. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a fancy grey suit. He has shaved his head bald. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Merchant business.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: She wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her spear, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. Her brown hair, when down, is lengthy. Her eyes are blue.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and to get a good night's sleep
