History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When Ranala reached her early adolescence her Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Ranala was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born in the east. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and revenge

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: River was born the youngest of three triplets. Through the years after River was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. River's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
