History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: Her skin is bronze and flawless. She wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). She is an epitome of beauty. Her golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mara embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She uses divination through singing.

History: Mara hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. After a long history of fighting, Mara and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, she wears a worn and beaten armor. She has wavy black hair. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gurdis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gurdis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, John grew up listening to his father's many stories. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She very much looks the part of a Carter. Her purple hair is thinning but still full. Her eyes are gold and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Anakis lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and an old rival family wants her found
