History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.

History: She got into the Unemployed business at a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Alice grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Alice. She became a Unemployed soon after.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Akta was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Akta was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Akta's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
