History: Cory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cory grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cory. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. She has a long red ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her green eyes peer out from beneath her wide-brimmed grey hat.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Soapmaker but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a Barrister, her father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with black colored cloaks and clothing. She has styled her chestnut hair well, parting it to the left. Her fierce silver eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Jeweler who has hired her part-time. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Jeweler, and she later adopted a second son.
