She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Ethereal was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to share knowledge with the world

Her hair is cut close to her head. Her black eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. The war was a terrible time for her, and Mastema does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Mastema was born with her mother's beautiful face. When Mastema reached her early adolescence her Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Mardred liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a Banker, his father struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the east were limited. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Tiefling compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to tiefling people
