Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. She has shaved her head bald. Her hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: This woman loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Birel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
