Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Merla embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. After a long history of fighting, Merla and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Architect arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and to reunite with her absent father

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. After a long history of fighting, Arava and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: She has a missing left leg. She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her fur is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: River is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Interpreter but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She got into the Interpreter business at a young age. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears skinny pants and wears a tan and grey robe with the hood down. He wears his brown hair up. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
