History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. History: Gifted from a young age, Gerard studied abroad. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mason work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mason work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, River was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears silk and lounges about seductively. She has styled her bronze crest well, parting it to the right. Her red eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Havilar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Havilar. She tends to her Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
