History: Korfel was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He usually wears his grey robe and has his monstrous two handed axe always slung over his shoulder, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'0" when asserting himself. He has done his best to style his chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Gomory was born with his father's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Gomory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. Her golden hair is wavy and long. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are blue.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. A gifted student she started as a Soapmaker, but she got bored and became a Interpreter. She has worked as a Interpreter like her mother before her.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: This man stands a little under 4'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He has a very tight haircut. His ears are large.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he is greedy

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, she wears a robe, a symbol of strength around her neck, and a scythe on her belt. Her beige fur is smooth and relatively long. Her eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tricking fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
