Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Percival was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Windy will drive conversation. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: This man stands a little under 3'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light blue in addition to tight pants. His brown hair is still thick. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has achieved small success as a Carter.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and further expansion of business

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. She wears dark leathers with embroidery, marred by beers. Her tied-back hair is black. Her eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a blue vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her pastel leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her blue boots flare out at the collars, and a wedding ring on her left hand. Her moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.
