Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a brown tunic with white highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around her shoes, and is pretty ugly. Her hair is white and very short. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in the south to a Herbalist, Agnes learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: She is dressed in earthy colors with a black and green handkerchief worn on her right side. Her rusty crest is matted, messy, and big. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. At some point she was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and she has money and likes to spend it

Voice: Scratchy, weak

Description: This slender man stands about 5'10". He is dressed in a clean violet cloak covering his clean studded leather. His black hair is cut short. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Arnold was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Voice: High pitched and raspy

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is typically in his Performer uniform. He has wavy golden hair. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Performer. He tends to his Performer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he is content
