History: The child of a Marshal, who enjoyed hunting, Vani was taken on many hunting expeditions. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Vani took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortbow and armor she uses now. After a long history of fighting, Vani and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Korfel and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Anakis hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Anakis was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She has golden hair. Her gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Expand her business; and to be a shepherd again
