She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Nala was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nala's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Nala and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Description: He wears dark leathers with embroidery. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Sporting a golden mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. Arnold enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Arnold was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets.

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

History: Born to a Carter, his father struggled to pay the bills. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
