History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ortegar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Description: This southern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a white armored body suit, with a simple red line shooting up and back down. She has slicked back golden hair. Her eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 79. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Wella hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Wella alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and many brigands want her driven away

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a Carpenter, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Adventurer for hire.

Motivation: To be a Carpenter again; and to reunite with her absent mother

Description: He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing green cape and mantle trimmed with soft red waves gently in the breeze. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His brass crest is heavily combed to the left. His gold eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was a Fortune-teller, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 4'10" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She very much looks the part of a Bricklayer. Her silver hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. She has gleaming, smiling black eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Bricklayer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
