Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Vassago was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vassago fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spice Merchant.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has achieved small success as a Masseuse.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: She is a mite stocky and likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her red hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. She is baby faced.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She takes great joy in being the best Layabout in town.

History: Born in the west to a Layabout, Ridaro learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
