History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born in the east to a Marshal, Avice learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Marshal. She became a Marshal soon after.
