History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Shane took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. History: He got into the Doctor business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Doctor, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Ridaro was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
