History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When River reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she feels kind of lost in life

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She worked as a nervous Sculptor and found it very stressful. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
