Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and a strong sense of loyalty to gnomish people

Description: This woman wears a pastel cloak and cross-gartered violet stockings, and sports empty pouches on her belt. She has no fur. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shifting embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Shifting was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: He has the majority of his body covered in plate. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. During his travels, Clerebold and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Clerebold discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Clerebold fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
