History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Hadarai alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Ahinar hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Courier born in the past three hundred years. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Windy was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Courier. He has achieved small success as a Courier.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Cartwright. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Her crest, while still mostly copper, has prominent grey streaks. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep red.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
