He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Engraver arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His first spouse was a Fortune-teller, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was born into a rich family. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Hadwisa alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against drow; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
