History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Yebe enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the south to a Brewer, Yebe learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His crest, while still mostly blue, has prominent grey streaks. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He keeps his silver hair in a flapper bob. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Merchant. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To be a Bookbinder again; and he feels threatened by others

Description: This dark-skinned female has the majority of her body covered in plate. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dee fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
