He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
