History: Born to a Tanner, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants revenge against goblins.

History: He was born in a small island village. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: She was born into a rich family. She found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she has money and likes to spend it

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Tree was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Tree's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving A true patriot, Caelynn would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and wants to open a new tavern
