Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has a crush on the local armorer

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cumpen grew up listening to her father's many stories. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. After a long history of fighting, Cumpen and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.
