History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a Map Maker, his father struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
