History: Born in the south to a Doctor, Rathkran learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Doctor and found it very stressful. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Rathkran never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Markosian was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
