History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bernard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bernard. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Osah is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Barbena lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Barbena abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. She wears a tan coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon her head. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. Her amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Malquis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ishte studied abroad. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better world.
