Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born in the north. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This eastern woman wears professional attire. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her hair is cut close to her head. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the east. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During her travels, Pyra and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Pyra discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Pyra fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: An older woman who is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, she is not a threatening figure. Her white hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. She also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is her passion

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. He wears a green vest and prefers violet and red shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length scarlet crest. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gargax will drive conversation. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Gargax was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Marshal. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty pastel coat over it. His gray fur is still thick. His green eyes peer out from beneath his feathered pastel hat.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.
