History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Patrin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Ulla was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ulla's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Ulla and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was born in a small plains village. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dragonborn companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
