History: Ruloth was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When Nutae reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Therlin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Being a Fortune-teller kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was born in the west. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Stacee's homeland. Stacee decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
