History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born in the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Courier. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Paela was born the youngest of three triplets. She worked as a nervous Courier and found it very stressful. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
