History: Born to a Sage, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His childhood dream was to be a Sage, but he was a colossal failure. He became a Shepherd soon after.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Balifra's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Gifted from a young age, Balifra studied abroad. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Balifra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears dark leathers with embroidery. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy golden hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Marshal but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He got into the Marshal business at a young age. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He became a Marshal soon after.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. Hugh enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born into a rich family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He wears professional attire. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His fur is cut close to his head. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Cask was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Blacksmith. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.
