History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has worked as a Ruler like his father before him.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He dresses in tan turtlenecks beneath a yellow coat with blue slacks. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Igden embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Igden was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'7". He is typically in his Map Maker uniform, and his gloved hand is found clutching a sai. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Map Maker for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Map Maker responsibilities is difficult.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears skinny pants and wears a green and yellow robe with the hood down. His copper crest is braided into rings. His eyes are likewise red. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is content.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and a deep hatred of giants
