History: Surina lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Erky lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and further expansion of business

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
