Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Avelina was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has never given up on her singing dream.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her childhood dream was to be a Crown-heir, but she was a colossal failure. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spice Merchant.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing her hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a black shirt with thin tan vertical stripes and brown pants and is in decent physical shape. She sports a flattop crest cut. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Description: She tends to wear a grey poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her red hair is lengthy. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Valida was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born into a rich family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she has passion for adventuring and risk
