History: She was born on a small isolated farm. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Beatrice alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Beatrice was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: Uadjit speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
